36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of our alphabet.
A 36 day open call of restless creativity, where participants are challenged to design a letter or number for each day, showing the outcome of the ability to represent the same symbols simultaneouly and from thousands different perspectives.
For 2020, I took the approach of associating each letter and number to a word and created a brand mark that would most fit the feel associated.
This 36 day challenge became not only an exercise in rendering letters and numbers, but also an exercise in logo design and developing brand look and feel. And of course no branding project is complete without a tote bag mockup.
